BENJAMIN ABRAMOWITZ
Works on Paper, 1955-1965 Benjamin Abramowitz's works on paper evidence the indelible legacy of Abstract Expressionism. They offer bold, saturated color and expressive movement of line and brush strokes. Inspired by the improvisational style of hard-bop and free jazz, the artworks are graphically powerful
and confident.

WILLIAM CHRISTENBERRY
35mm Kodachormes
William Christenberry's prints feature familiar as well as new subject matter within his signature parameters of the American South and, specifically, Hale County, Alabama. The nine previously unseen images in the exhibition predate and predict work the artist produced in later years with an 8 x 10 Deardorff Field camera.

DON DONAGHY
Photographs, 1961-1969
The photographs of Don Donaghy represent a glimpse of light and place. The subjects Donaghy captured are singular and searching - solitary figures, storefronts plastered with signage, funeral cars laden with flowers. In contrast to these solitary images are scenes of people gathering together, yet all share the same eye toward capturing a disappearing moment.
